Advocacy
The St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce engages in advocacy efforts at local and state levels of government to influence public policy and ensure that businesses are being heard on the issues that matter to them. The chamber is driven by a pro-jobs agenda and focuses on these legislative priorities: Economic development, workforce initiatives, infrastructure improvements and tourism support.
The chamber's Public Policy Committee interprets local and state legislation, promotes policies to support a strong business environment in St. Johns County, and recommends policy positions to chamber leadership.
All members benefit from the chamber's advocacy work and commitment to educating and engaging every business, elected official and citizen in St. Johns County to promote a favorable business environment.
Advocacy Programs
Attainable Housing Coalition
Many of St. Johns County's most essential workers — first responders, teachers, healthcare professionals — cannot afford to own or rent housing in the communities they serve. The Attainable Housing Coalition works to advocate for more affordable housing options to keep workers and their jobs in the county.
