The Economic Development Council is engaged in the purposeful and strategic effort to promote the success of St. Johns County businesses and the health of our local economy.
The EDC works to promote St. Johns County as an ideal business location and to encourage businesses to expand and relocate within St. Johns County. EDC activities and events are designed to support the success of both new and existing businesses in St. Johns County. The EDC works with large and small businesses. We offer resources to relocating businesses and support start-up ventures by offering information and connectivity to a variety of local resources.
The work of the EDC includes actively marketing St. Johns County as a premier destination for companies prospectively considering expansion or relocation. This effort is supported by our membership and our other local, state and regional Economic Development Partners.
The members of our Economic Development Council represent the strongest and most influential business leaders in St. Johns County. These individuals share a common bond: the desire to support the expansion of our local economy. Our Chamber and EDC members offer additional resources and services which can help facilitate the success of relocating residents and companies.
EDC Quarterly Breakfast events and educational programs are premier business networking opportunities and offer updates to business leaders on both micro and macroeconomic issues impacting St. Johns County businesses.
The Economic Development Council is made up of individuals who support the economic development efforts of the St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce.
