St. John’s County, Florida

In a world in which technologies are advancing, and the population is increasing, the culture of farming has been dying. Targeted towards the next generations to come, Flagler College Enactus and is bringing the experience of farming through an Agventure Farm Tour. 

In concert with St. John’s River-to-Sea-Loop-Alliance, introduces the first ever, Agricultural Adventure, Agventure Farm Tour on April 14, 2018 from 8:45AM to 1PM.

For the price of $32 for adults and $18 dollars for children, guests get to explore four varying agriculture locations.

Pack up the car with your family and friends and begin your day at Rype & Readi Farm in Elkton, Florida. From there the tour will depart and arrive Saturiwa Conservation Area. Where guests will receive a guided tour of a 94-acre longleaf pine restoration, wetlands, abundant wildlife and boardwalk landing on the St. Johns River. 

After Saturiwa, guests can experience the environmentally friendly technologies of Blue Sky Farm and the future of potato harvesting with the opportunity to purchase a variety of potatoes.

Next, join us in the quaint town of Hastings for a short walking tour [of what was once the hub of the Tri-County Agricultural Area, which includes the new trail section that is a portion of the 260-mile St. Johns River-to-Sea Loop.] 

Then, we will arrive at Spuds Farm and visit the craft shed and the produce stand including Mavis's Famous Pies. 

The tour will finish where it began at Rype &Readi Farms to enjoy the Inaugural Blues and Brunswick Stew, Blueberry Festival Brunch.
