Take the Damage Assessment Survey
Report damages resulting from Hurricane Irma to the Florida Virtual Business Emergency Operations Center. Its business damage assessment surveying tool has been activated at  http://flvbeoc.org/index.php Click on Resources, then complete survey at Damage Assessments. This information will be used to determine the needs and level of assistance for impacted businesses. Those damages include economic Injury due to loss of revenue. 

Disaster Recovery Center Open in St. Johns County for those Impacted By Hurricane Irma
St. Johns County, Fl – A Disaster Recovery Center to help those affected by Hurricane Irma opened at 9 a.m. on Saturday September 16 at the St. Johns County Wind Mitigation Building, 3111 Agricultural Center Drive. The center will remain open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday for the immediate future. Disaster Recovery Centers serve as one-stop shops for eligible storm survivors seeking one-on-one help. Representatives from the Florida Division of Emergency Management, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the U.S. Small Business Administration and various other state agencies will be at the center to answer questions and provide assistance. Attention Small Business Owners: The Florida Small Business Emergency Bridge Loan Program has been activated by the Governor of Florida as a result of Hurricane Irma. More info
 
This program provides a source of expedient cash flow to Florida small businesses that have been physically and/or economically impacted by this storm.
 
Eligible Counties: All 67 counties in Florida.
 
These short-term, interest-free working capital loans are intended to “bridge the gap” between the time a major catastrophe hits and when a business has secured longer term recovery resources, such as sufficient profits from a revived business, receipt of payments on insurance claims or federal disaster assistance.

Long Term Disaster Recovery Loans from SBA for Physical Damage and Economic Injury
For a longer term loan, consider applying for an SBA Loan--The U.S. Small Business Administration has declared St. Johns, Duval, Flagler and Putnam County businesses and private nonprofit organizations eligible for both Physical and Economic Injury Disaster Loans of up to $2 million to repair or replace disaster damaged or destroyed real estate, machinery, equipment, inventory and other business assets. Interest rates are as low as 3.305% for businesses and 2.5% for nonprofit organizations with terms up to 30 years. Apply online via SBA’s secure website at https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela.

St. Johns County Hurricane Irma Debris Collection Program
St. Johns County, Fl – St. Johns County initiated the Hurricane Irma Debris Collection Program on Friday, September 15. Residents are encouraged to move all storm debris to the curb as crews will collect debris from the public right-of-way. The contractor will make multiple passes through various neighborhoods to ensure all storm-related debris is collected. The following guidelines will assist the County in expediting debris removal:
• Please place storm debris in the right of way at the curb
• Debris must be three feet from utility boxes, mailboxes, hydrants, and other obstacles.
• Debris collection crews will not pick up bags, containers, leaves, or small debris.
• Please separate vegetation from all other storm-related debris.
• Bagged vegetative debris (leaves) will be picked up on regularly scheduled garbage collection days.
No chemicals or hazardous waste will be collected curbside. Hazardous waste may be disposed of at the Tillman Ridge or Stratton Road Transfer Stations for disposal during standard operating hours. Garbage, Recycling, and Yard Debris Collection Schedules Resume Next Week
St. Johns County, Fl – In the wake of Hurricane Irma, St. Johns County’s standard household garbage, recycling, and yard debris collection schedules will resume the week of September 18, 2017. St Johns County Opens Water Distribution Point on Mizell Road for Hurricane Irma Victims 
St. Johns County opened a water Point of Distribution (POD) at the Parks and Recreation Administration Office, 2175 Mizell Road, on Tuesday. The POD will be open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. for the duration of the recovery. Water distribution is limited to one case of water per car. St. Johns County Closes Initial Shelters, Opens Single Post-impact Shelter
In response to impacts from Hurricane Irma, St. Johns County has opened the Solomon Calhoun Community Center, 1300 Duval Street, as a post-impact shelter for those who are unable to return to their homes. Building Services Structural Hotline for residents and business owners
St. Johns County, Fl – St. Johns County has activated a hotline for residents and business owners with concerns regarding property and structural damage due to Hurricane Irma. If you have storm-related structural damage or permitting questions, please call the St. Johns County Building Services Structural Hotline at 904.827.6836.

St. Johns County Discontinues Re-entry Tag Program for Evacuations
(St. Johns County, Fl) – To expedite residential and business re-entry in the event of an emergency, St. Johns County and all local St. Johns County agencies have discontinued the Re-entry Tag Program. Evacuated residents and business owners east of the Intracoastal Waterway now only need to provide proof of address with a driver’s license, State-issued identification card, or another form of identification such as a utility bill or lease agreement. Re-entry tags are no longer issued nor will they be required for re-entry. For more information, please call St. Johns County Emergency Management at 904.824.5550.

Please call the St. Johns County Emergency Management hotline at 904.824.5550 for non-emergency storm-related information. All St. Johns County Sandbag Filling Locations Closed
