St. Augustine Distillery Appoints New North Florida Market Development Manager Bookmark

St. Augustine Distillery is proud to announce that Katie Hannon has joined the company to further strengthen their growing portfolio of award-winning spirits in the North Florida market. Katie brings more than a decade’s experience in beverage sales, having spent the last four years at Breakthru Beverage Group where she was instrumental in account development, executing and maintaining successful beverage programs and spearheading events to raise brand awareness and increase sales.
Hannon’s responsibilities as North Florida Market Development Manager include strengthening key customer relationships and growing case volume while upholding the company’s core values of education, environmental sustainability and a commitment to Florida’s agriculture.
“Katie has already proven herself an immediate asset to the team,” said Philip McDaniel, co-founder and CEO of St. Augustine Distillery. “As a 10-year industry veteran, Katie’s extensive knowledge and strong relationships will help grow our brands well beyond the levels already established in our first three years of operations. We are thrilled to have Katie onboard and aggressively selling our brands.”
St. Augustine Distillery, a family-owned and operated company, is housed in the historic FP&L Ice Plant, which dates back to 1907. After a multi-million dollar renovation in 2011, the St. Augustine Distillery is a fully operational Distillery producing bourbon, rum, gin and vodka on-site. The Distillery is a contributing building to the Historic Lincolnville Neighborhood, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Noted as the most visited craft distillery in the USA, the company has hosted over 500,000 visitors since opening in March of 2014 and was recently named “Florida Whiskey of the Year” by Whisky Advocate. St. Augustine Distillery has also garnered more than 50 awards for its broad range of ultra-premium spirits.
