Event Description
Please join the St. Augustine/St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce Historic St.Augustine Area Council at its October meeting where featured speaker Jennifer Jordan, Director of Communications for The Lightner Museum, will be sharing details on the Dressing Downton exhibition scheduled for October - January at the Lightner. The exhibit’s collection of 36 original costumes from the award-winning show is quite a “get” for St. Augustine, and the Lightner Museum will add its own original exhibit pieces to the collection to give attendees a wonderful representation of Gilded Age life. Learn how many local Historic District businesses are partnering “in the Downton spirit” to entice the large visitor numbers anticipated for Dressing Downton.

Jennifer Jordan will be managing the upcoming Dressing Downton exhibition coming to the museum this fall.  Jennifer and her husband Josh moved to St. Augustine from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania 10 years ago where Jennifer worked for the Pennsylvania State Senate and House of Representatives as a staff communications specialist for the republican caucus. Jennifer lives with her husband and 6 year old son George in Vilano Beach.
