Ponte Vedra Beach

Beautiful Beaches, Luxurious Resorts & Much More

There's a reason why CNN called Ponte Vedra Beach "One Of The Top 22 Can’t-Miss Beaches in The U.S." Between the beaches, the reserves, and the activities, there is something for everyone in this seaside suburb of Jacksonville. Located on the scenic A1A, Ponte Vedra (pont-eh vee-druh) Beach offers a blend of laid-back luxury and natural beauty. Miles of freshwater streams, creeks, and lagoons course through the natural area of Ponte Vedra Beach while waves crash against white sand beaches. We encourage guests to take full advantage of the nearby cultural and recreational opportunities here.

Ponte Vedra Beach History

Ponte Vedra Beach has a rich and unique history. Ponce de Leon, a Spanish explorer best known for his pursuit of the legendary “fountain of youth,” is believed to have landed on what would later become Ponte Vedra Beach on April 2, 1513.

Today, this thriving community has come to be considered one of the most luxurious and prestigious recreational and residential destinations in Florida, if not the entire country. It was voted Money Magazine’s “Best Place to Live in Florida” and among the top 50 places to live in the United States. With above-average income, low crime rate, and top-performing schools.
